Moving your loyalty cards after Stocard
Guide · Updated

Stocard was one of the most popular loyalty card apps. After Klarna bought it in 2021, the cards moved into the Klarna app, and the standalone Stocard app was shut down in stages between late 2024 and mid 2025. Many people didn't want a payments account just to keep their supermarket cards.
Your options
- Apple Wallet directly. Some stores offer their own Wallet pass in their app or website. Check there first.
- iOS 27 Create a Pass. Good for simple cards if you have a recent iPhone. See what it can and can't do.
- A pass maker like FoilPass. Turns any card with a barcode into a Wallet pass, keeps the original barcode type, and needs no account.
Moving a card with FoilPass
- Take a screenshot of each card's barcode in the old app, or have the plastic cards at hand.
- In FoilPass, tap New pass, then From a photo or screenshot, and pick the screenshot.
- Check the number, give the card a name and color, and add it to Wallet.
Your cards then live in Apple Wallet itself, so they stay with you whatever happens to any app.
FoilPass is not affiliated with Stocard or Klarna. Store names belong to their owners.
